Robert Garcia (American boxer)
Roberto "Robert" García Cortez (born January 29, 1975) is a Mexican-American former professional boxer and current boxing trainer. As a boxer he held the IBF super featherweight title, and as a trainer was voted Trainer of the Year by ''The Ring'' magazine in 2011 and by the Boxing Writers Association of America in 2012.〔(Roberto Garcia – Boxrec ). Born in San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, Garcia grew up and still resides in Oxnard, California. He trained world champions with his Father at La Colonia Boxing Club.
